Really hate opening up my MLB app and having to see that ugly line score from the last game every single time.

38 years is more like 100%. That's pretty amazing.

that reminds me: last Thursday, I stumbled upon a DVD of this movie Pedro about the Real Word guy/AIDS activist that I first assumed was a documentary and then realized was a dramatization with a fake Pedro, and on the back there's a fake picture of the old Real World: San Francisco promo shot complete with fake Puck, fake Judd, fake Pam, etc.

I would like to see the first half of this movie

also mentioned (in this Harper's book review) is that demographer James Vaupel believes it likely that there's a child alive now who will live to 200

Years ago, maybe the first class I ever taught on my own (ie not as a TA) I had a student who had adopted Puck's persona. One of the few students I actually enjoyed failing.

The feeling of a nice dump at any point of the day I think is still massively underrated.

My wife's friend is one of the most fascinating people I've ever met, she makes no sense at all. She grew up rich, went to an exclusive private school in Princeton, went to some crazy expensive all girls college, continued on and got a phd and now she's a marine biologist, she's never worked a day in her life really, her parents just pay for everything for her even now, she's 32 and her parents pay her rent in Philly. The closest thing she's ever had to a job is the boob job she got a few years ago. So anyway, she married a guy a few years ago who she'd gone to hs with, he was now the manager of a trailer park near Trenton and an alcoholic. I mean he was a fucking disastrous alcoholic too, at their wedding he was so drunk before it even started he needed help getting to the altar. So after they got married he would drink all the time and she'd find him passed out in the yard or whatever. Finally after about a year and a half he fucked a stripper and she divorced him. So now she was single and dating. First guy would only meet her for breakfast dates at her apartment, turns out he's married and his wife is pregnant and works with her mom. Then she moved onto bartender/dj's in Philly (no this one is really going to make it as a dj!! He's going to be the next Pauly D!) after about a year of that she is now dating a guy who is an internet parts guy at a BMW place and a huge red neck. He lives far away (Maryland) and she was going to break up with him because she didn't want to keep doing the long distance relationship. So the guy said "I'll buy you a house!" She said no it was too soon for that, and then he said well then "will you marry me?" And guess what. She said yes. So anyway, they are getting married in the spring, he wants to get married on the beach and (this is my favorite part) he wants to start the ceremony by jumping out of a tree stand (on the beach) wear a camouflage tuxedo and after they say I do, ride off onto the ocean on a jet ski. My wife is all freaking out about her making another mistake, but I can't wait for this wedding. This is going to be awesome, and if your scoring at home, it will be her second wedding in 4 years, can't wait for the next one!
