yea if you read his whole manifesto, he seemed like a good dude that was wronged by the system. he got fired for reporting police brutality amongst other things and was strongarmed out of the force and his good name treaded upon. it isn't until the end of the manifesto that was posted on here that we see how fucking nuts he will be as this continues.

I only read up to the part about how he was telling journalists how, where and what to file to get records. Pretty amazing. Too bad he had to kill to get attention to this manifesto.

what in the actual fuck

Pretty close to my reaction. I certainly hope the dumb fuck(s) that shot at this car get a permanent vacation.

Also, was that manifesto an attempt to confuse and befuddle everyone with acronyms? I've never seen so many. I'm hoping they catch him before he hurts anyone else, but that he's able to expose any legitimately corrupt cops he knows about.

They didn't follow police procedure, at all, and nearly killed two people. Maybe "permanent" is too much, but I don't think we need squirrely shoot first ask questions later types in our police forces.

I'm not sure what being out of the country has to do with anything.

Anyone take Amtrak lately? How reliable is the wifi on the train? Will I be able to stream from Netflix or something like that?

People usually seem vindicated when you're getting their uncontradicted statement.

I have no earthly idea whether he got screwed or not, but according to the CNN writeup, the allegation of brutality was against his training officer. He reported it two weeks after the incident, which doesn't seem unreasonable at first glance considering he'd probably be incredibly nervous to file such a report due to the fact that he was still a trainee. The problem arises when you learn that the report came a day after he received a negative evaluation from the training officer. So was it retalitatory for the bad evaluation? Was the bad evaluation due to the fact that he confronted the training officer about it? Who knows. But let's not go too far saying he sounds like a good dude who got screwed. That may very well be the case (and considering the sterling reputation of the LAPD, it's entirely possible), but we just don't know. We do know that his lawsuits were repeatedly dismissed by various courts, so the LAPD at least did a great job of covering its ass.

its ironic in a way because dorner mentioned in his manifesto about all the shit the lapd does and gets away with. how the cops who shot at that truck will probably get a desk job or a 20 day suspension with full salary anyway.

what's classier, a barn or a shack? barns are bigger but you're more likely to hear of someone living in a shack

I suppose a shack is "classier", since a barn is where one keeps farm animals.

You should change gyms. There's nothing classy about catching crabs.

only right things from barns is livestock & maybe the farmer's daughter out the haymow
