I think the Republican strategy was based on the premise winning enough states that Ohio would put them over the top and they would contest Ohio to the nth degree and ultimately prevail a la 2000. Now they're still trying to implement the second part of that strategy without accepting they failed on the initial premise.

Guy on NBC just explained, some 750,000 votes left in heavily Obama areas, about 150,000 left in Romney areas, so with Obama already leading, it would be pretty crazy to go the other way at this point.
