alligator is pretty good when cooked right

I'd had alligator quesadillas at Bourbon Blue in Manayunk and that was great. this was just a wildly disappointing sandwich. i've had their gumbo and po'boys before and they're good. just something not right about the gator, maybe. they also said it was really hot and it wasn't the least bit hot
