Go on vacation and the outfield gets traded.

Oh well.

But really, fuck Dallas. The water here is nasty, like really nasty. We went out to dinner, and they put a pitcher of water on the table, I went to pour a glass and my boss said, "I wouldn't do that, it tastes funny" I thought eh, how bad could it be. Then I had a sip, it tastes like basement. What is wrong with this place? Why do people want to live here?

Friday will be playing golf for the 1st time in about 3 yrs. Links course. What advice from routine golfers for avoiding total humiliation? I can probably still hit a 5 iron (I think. I hope).
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Mental defect. It really is awful. Worse even I think than Atlanta. And they're running out of that nasty water as well. Ft. Worth is a bit better. Arlington, however, is the absolute asshole of America. I suspect Camden NJ has more culture.

The most fucked up thing about Dallas is that many people who live there really think it's great.

One solution might be to cheat. Cheat like crazy. You can cut lots of strokes from your score if you do it well. And it's only golf so who care, right?

I used to golf once a decade but I've missed the last one and things don't look good for the 2010s.

My cousin and her husband are moving to Houston soon. My uncle is up in arms about them building a house on a pipeline or something, amongst other issues. I guess Houston is better than Dallas though?

EDIT: I now gather that this is likely the Keystone Pipeline. Yikes. Yeah, I can see why he's pissed.

Houston is hot. Real hot. Humid too. They also have twin engine Mosquitos. Lots of rice too. The Houston area used to be the number one rice exporter in the world. They even named a college after it.

Went to a wild wedding in Houston. Had a real good time.

Also went to a bar that had a mechanical bucking bronco and long neck beer in Pasadena which is somewhere near there. Got pretty drunk and on the way home got out of the car to take a leak and got bit to all hell on my bare feet by fire ants.

Good times.

You don't move to Houston for air quality.

I like Houston a lot better than Dallas. It's a lot more ethnically diverse and a lot less puritanical. It's still a sprawling sun belt city though.
