How often should I change my oil if I drive the car primarily on weekends, it is parked in a garage and I put maybe 6k miles a year on it, the majority of which comes in chunks from out of town trips?

BUCKY ALERT

i'd say it depends mostly on your car's mileage. if it's under 75K, fuggit, every 4-5k is fine. otherwise i'd go around 3k or so.

I thought she became a fundamentalist and stopped writing vampire books.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

3K is a recommendation from the auto manufacturers to get you to spend more money at their service department. You'll be fine once a year at this pace. My car has 211K and I do every 6-10K with synthetic.

I've heard the general recommendation these days is to change every four to five thousand miles if you use regular oil and every five to seven thousand miles if you use a synthetic.

Hell, Ford's recommendation on my 2011 Edge is every 7500 miles.

colin cowherd had the most awful interview with kate upton. she hung up on him after he asked what she was wearing and how much she makes for being the cover model. if you want to experience the a few awkward minutes go to the linky.

My truck is a '99 w/ ~116,000 miles. I change the oil about a week before I get it inspected.

OH, and I'll thrill you with this /cool story bro about how I came to be a honda owner.

I hung out with this girl who had a Civic. She drove it like the dickens. 5 years old with about 150K. Told me she went 80K miles before her first oil change. "Nobody told me I was supposed to have it changed". :-D

Car was still running like a top when she got married and moved to Michigan.
