Listening to books is pretty cool, but I have 4 hours left in this thing and it's to "don't want to put it down" territory. I could probably read what's left in an hour.

Ah well, will make work tomorrow more interesting/less productive.

Interviews. Sometimes you're nervous but not tense and it feels like just a good excuse to look sharp in a good suit and kick back to some classic tek 9.

Feeling good goin' into this one.

I really hate that 102.9 lets the Led out every night from 7-8. I like Zeppelin as much as the next guy, but I don't need to hear them for an hour straight every day.

My beef was always that 7 is way too early to get the Led out. Should be 9 at the earliest

This always reminds me of a real-life Beavis and Butthead encounter I had way back when. It must have been mid-to-late 80's, because I was going to a band audition and stopped at the McDonald's in Ambler for a burger when I experienced this.

Background: WYSP (I think that was the station) was running a live Grateful Dead show that night. I think from SF.

Beavis: "What time is the dead show on tonight?"
Butthead: "I think it's 9 O'clock"
Beavis: "NO WAY! That's when they Get The Led Out!"
Me: "I'm pretty sure it's not until 11 O'Clock".
Beavis: "Yeah, that's probably right, because NO WAY would they cancel Zeppelin!!"

(He was serious).

Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't be able to use it.

It was a good un. I think they might think I'm a bit lightweight,'or not quite the right fit, but fuck it. I didn't sell myself short.

Man though, when they started talking about the practicalities of the project, I fucking loved it. It's a serious fucking event.

Nice to walk back along sauciehall street to LCD soundsystem. Glasgow is totally made for that first album.

A bag outing of housh, meatball, td, jive, and Jamie would be in sexyscottishwomenheaven. They dress fine there. fit as fuckery.
