my roommate went to England for a week. Occurred to me I'm happier I don't have to hang out with his girlfriend than I am disappointed I can't hang out with him, which I should feel bad about but don't.

took a peek out back and saw that our little pond was near empty. there is only one fish in it and he was just laying on the bottom in about a quarter inch of water. i guess it all evaporated? which is weird because there was a big storm last night, figured the thing would be overflowing. anyways i thought he was a goner. started filling the pond back up with water and wouldnt you know it the little sucker survived. that little fighter is swimming around now enjoying his life in captivity.
