you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

i guess it's like eating christmas eve, which most people apparently dont do and yet my family always did growing up. depends on the tradition.

My dad always makes corned beef brisket on St. Patty's Day. Corned beef is my favorite deli meat. I had a corned beef sandwich for lunch most days at school between 6th and 12th grade.

It's been like 8 years since they opened up in the mall, right?

something like that, yeah. i think it only lasted a couple years though. when it opened there were lines down Cottman Ave.

reading about it, that seems closer to the 'real' irish tradition. the corned beef appears to be an irish-american thing

maybe, i know they had corned beef other times, just not on St. Patrick's Day

btw i'd like to take this whiny St. Patrick's moment to say how much i fucking hate everything about Irish Car Bombs and that whoever made them was either some jackass Irish-American version of an Uncle Tom or a limey

I'm a big fan of ham, but the brisket my dad made tonight blows the best you can do with ham out of the water
