I have to go to my wife's grandmother's 90th birthday today, and deal with her weirdo relatives. Picture the Ashkenazi Bluth family.

Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

One of them wears a neck brace (one of those soft cervical collar things), because it's "cold."

my 94-year-old grandmother often rocks the neck collar at the rare social event she attends. She still asks about O.T. (T.O.) whenever the Eagles are on television.

I was at a bar where people were wearing different types of snuggies. More awkward than funny.

I'm the bad daughter-in-law again today.

Told Vox's mom a couple days ago that there was a CHANCE that we might be going to Longwood Gardens today -- it's a group thing we try to do each Christmas. Called her this morning, left a message on her cell and house phone that we weren't going. She got here all excited, thinking that we were going (because she doesn't use the cell and wasn't home). And is wondering why we can't go even though the rest of the group isn't going.

Somehow I think I'm going to end up at Longwood twice this Christmas. At least.

Oh, not only did I do a chick flick outing with some friends yesterday, I convinced them that next time we go out, we should go to Chipotle.

Are Norwegians big drinkers? These Norwegian neighbors are having a Norwegian Christmas celebration party today for the kids in the neighborhood and the only saving grace will be if it means the parents can drink buckets of booze, hopefully served in a viking helmet or some other stereotypical Scandinavian serving vessel.

Estonians are huge drinkers if that helps any (good friend's family), bring Carlsberg and see how goes....

The had something called glugg or glogg that was warmed red wine and booze and spices. Really good but not something you can drink too quickly.

Iceland leads the world in alcoholism, I believe. I think scandinavians are known for it, too. I have two friends from sweden and they drink like fish, not that anecdotal evidence counts for much.
