i've actualy heard of this before. there was a show on discovery 3 years back called "perfect disaster" which had a fictional narrative of this event. i think the solar cycle goes 15 years from high point to high point, and if i recall correctly, the next period of high intensity solar radiation would be 2012.

What skills do you have that would help you dominate in a restart? My skills would be useful for rebuild, if I make it that long.
