I'm up and down on them. So Much Staying Alive and Whatever I think is amazing and will stand up for it. A lot of their other records I like a lot but wouldn't really bother defending because they're obviously pretty indulgent and silly. I hope you're not saying they're overrated because most people seem to hate it.

no, not at all. in fact aren't they the one kinsella act that no one seems to care for? i've never bothered listening to them b/c they've had such mixed reviews, but i like other stuff like cap'n jazz and ESPECIALLY american football. i really was just looking for an honest take from a fan.

I like Cap'n Jazz but haven't listened to it for a while. I haven't tried a lot of those Jade Treeish bands because I always felt like Promise Ring is their flagship and they don't do anything for me. Maybe I'll give American Football a chance.

i think american football is amazing if you're in the right mood. same with the one up downstairs and sometimes owen, although i think they're kind of overrated.

you may or may not find interesting that i interned for jade tree when i was in college. i stuffed alot of envelopes and found out i wasn't as cool as i thought i was
