Unfortunately, since August 18 the Phillies have coupled 6-0 vs Mets with 8-13 vs the rest of the league.

sweet game to win, tons of fights in the upper deck after the phils took the lead, seats suck real bad there, first row of the upper deck and my legs were badly cramped

beat the mets beat the mets step right up and sweep the mets

I was there too, and I echo the comments on the fighting. I felt all nostalgic for the 600-700 Level hijinks.

Some good Mets fans with senses of humor, though. And an awesome guy who looked like Ted Nugent in a black Mets jersey with METALLICA in the name space and #13. "GO BACK TO THE CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE, YOU (HOMOS)!!"

Charlie has used Gordon, Romero, and Myers in the first two games of this series. Romero has pitched three days in a row. I doubt any of them will be available tomorrow. I think it was the right move using them all today, because you don't know about tomorrow. If it's close, who does he go to? Geary? Condrey? Castro? Rosario has been throwing well since he came back.

Franzke mentioned all the fights on the radio. Listening to a game on the radio, you get a better feel for the crowd and it sounded like there was a of Phillies' fans there, true?

Do you think Eaton will pitch well enough for this to be an issue?

No, but...

Adam Eaton vs. Mets, 18.2 IP, 6 ER
Adam Eaton vs. Othe, 131.0 IP, 99 ER

This may be conspiracy theory-ish but please listen. Who do you think the Mets would rather see in the Playoffs, the Phillies or a west team. Im not sure how it would work, but if a west team is the WC, the first series is Mets/West Coast. If the Phils make it, the Mets first series is likely Mets/central Leader.

The way the Phils have been inconsistent, is it possiible the Mets WANT the Phils as the WC? Id rather see them , then Peavy/Hoffman and company.

All we have to do is blow them out, so need for Myers et all.

But wouldn't that put home field advantage in the NLCS at risk? And, to really work, it would mean that the Mets also blew the 4 game series a few weaks back, which really made no sense, because that put the Phillies within striking distance of the Mets.

On the other hand, if Eaton starts fanning the Mets like crazy, well...

Sorry, forgot that one of the runs will be unearned.
I know what you're asking yourself and the answer is yes. I have a nick name for my penis. Its called the Octagon, but I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater.
