Watching Temple is so much more fun than watching the Phillies. They make hilarious mistakes, like two Temple players destroying the punter after he already kicked it and blowing good field position right after throwing an interception in UConn territory.

I'm watching this game and I'm not annoyed by what's happening today--they're losing to an all-time great pitcher and a good lineup that's handling our okay-to-good pitcher with very solid at-bats.

What's pissing me off is thinking about all the games they've needlessly blown this season--mostly through atrocious pitching--which have rendered everything a "must-win" now. There's no way the Phillies can make the playoffs if they lose more than 5 the rest of the way: that means 1 this weekend, 1 in St. Louis, 2 in the 7 games left against Washington, 1 against the Braves. They have to win every single series, and that just shouldn't be the case at this point.
