Here's what I don't get though...as i understand it 'arguing' balls and strikes is cause for ejection...the definition of arguing seems fluid depending on the umps (and batter/pitcher/catcher/manager complaining)

Seroiusly, they should institute the 'insta eject' rule like the nba with the techs...people would shut up

I NEVER feel like this, but I kind of do feel like the Phillies have actually benefitted from this guys awful umpiring tonight. Yeah Loduca is an ass, but he and a lot of guys had every right to be pissed tonight. It is funny to see, but it's a shame that the MLB carries such POS as umpires.
