Crazy thing is this whole win streak has happened without Couts. They usually suck when he's out.

Stolie getting a shutout in his 2nd career start is pretty good

I don't know much about hockey strategy but I hope they never pair Provorov with Ghostisbehere. I like the idea of spreading the offensive defenseman wealth around among pairings.

Yeah, but guys like Bellemare have really stepped up and been a problem for other teams at forward on defense. Also, gotta give some love to MacDonald, I haven't been able to watch all of this 9 game run, but I feel like when I see him, he's holding his own out there and making some plays.

At least for me, the bar was set so low, anything positive he does is shocking. He still makes stupid plays, just not as many

Agree with this mostly. Prov and Ghost look like they could be two of the better offensive defenseman in the league, pair them with solid stay at home defensemen and profit. Then deploy them together down late when you wanna try to get a spark or on a pp when needed.

Can put one with Morin aka The Mountain from Game of Thrones when he's ready (assuming he isn't jailed for killing an AHL player):

I've always thought thats the way to do it with the puck moving defenseman. You have the capabilities to do that this season with Streit/MDZ/Ghost/Ivan. Gudas is really key. When he plays well, defense is at another level.

Winning streak has obviously been great, but I love the ways in which they are winning. It's a big variety. 6-5 win, 1-0 win, shootout, OT. Then you have everybody chipping in at different moments. Mason/Stolarz
Raffl GW vs EDM/Nash
Schenn last two games
Jake
Simmonds had 2 straight multi goal games
Provorov 2 goals in 31 seconds

Encouraging and damn fun

i think also getting raffl back to the top line and contributing lets them put wayne on the second line with schenn and the neck to balance the lines out.

Sit him. Next game isn't until Saturday. Ghost should be back. Keep MDZ in the lineup
