Yeah and tbf, they did not have Wallace until mid-February, but the lack of experience/success away from home is major bust potential like you said.

Oregon St was a bubble team to begin with. Had SDSU made it in it would make 2 teams but again that game was won in Vegas also earlier in the year.

Playing in Spokane might help them though now that I think of it, for the first round. No way are they tougher than Maryland but we'll see.

I absolutely hate Arizona with a passion but piece of me hopes they make it out of that cluster in the east just to shit on the committee.

Can someone explain to me what's going on with these Tues/Wed games? I thought they were play in games for the bubble teams, but looking at the Thursday matchups, that doesn't seem to be the case. For example, Virginia is a #1 and they play #16 Hampton, which does not play on Tues or Wed.

also, my spring break starts this weekend, so I'm digging in for some hoops. It's been a few years since I could watch a lot.

the play-in games are not reserved for #16 seeds. the true bubble teams are generally much closer to a 9-10-11 seed than a 16, which is mostly saved for unexpected conference winners (holy cross) or teams from generally weak conferences.

They lost to uva in Charlottesville by 2 back in December. Played some really tough D iirc.
