Back when FD had chat there was this huge taboo against giving Weather info and not just from the players either.

Wasn't going to play, but I'm bored at work so throwing a fin at the early games 50/50.

Kazmir
Laird
Miggy
Kinsler
Lowrie
Castellanos
Carlos Gomez
Braun
Eaton

Went back and forth on Kazmir vs. Kluber for my pitcher. Decided to trust the Vegas line and go with Kazmir.

I was thinking about putting all my eggs in Scherzer and Trout tonight.

I just hate playing the full day with so many early games. Don't like playing when you have no clue who is going to be in the lineup.

Zero offense in the early games. Kinsler HR is all there if in ~14 innings so far.

Kazmir and Scherzer not getting the win helped me finish in the cash in the early games.

Lots of early games today. Also lots of rain in the forecast. I think the Pittsburgh game should be safe, but STL and Chicago games could be affected.

DET-KC PPD
Avoiding a bunch of the other early midwest games left me with.....hopefully Pitt survives long enough for Wandy to own the Cubs at PNC

updated the greasemonkey script.

New features: it now shows the opposing pitcher, hands matchup (R v L etc) and the weather under each player, including % chance of precipitation! (all info taken from baseballpress.com/lineups)

I think this is firefox only. Don't share this outside this forum please:

I'm trying to decide whether it's more advantageous to join leagues early or to join late. Like by joining early are you more likely to go up against people that are or aren't doing a lot of research? Are people that are joining early more or less likely to adjust for weather or injuries/unexpected changes in the lineup?

I'm trying to test this a bit. Any anecdotes?

I'd say less likely since people who enter late have access to all that info right then. The downside is if you enter early you risk forgetting to adjust for changes yourself.

The Early guys tend to put in dummy lineups then edit last minute. You might catch some who make a lineup and ignore it, but not many I'd think. The last minute ones tend to have more of a rush about them so you'll often see lineup mistakes as they rush to register. Personally, just register early and edit when lineups are finalised.

Yea that's what I do. Just trying to get a sense if that's the norm. Looking for any little advantage I can get.

Use Bleh's FD Buddy, that's a huge advantage because it removes alot of the time you spend making lineups. After his last version broke I could easily spend an hour to two hours making sure my lineups were all going to play and would still miss little matchup advantages.

Thinking this right now:

Peavy
Ruiz
Rizzo
Utley
Rollins
Zimmerman
Harper
Schierholtz
Byrd

Really want to use Danny Salazar, but I'm not sure about the weather.
