Today is Bill Conlin's annual column when he reminds us he picked the 1993 Phillies to win the division.

BFD. The cover of the USA Today baseball preview showed Dykstra and Kruk etc. and said something like "Can the Wild Bunch Win the NL East?"

Stutes sounds like it should be a nickname for something.

I'm sticking to bloob thank you very much.

Well, like 1 wrote, Stutey (or Stutsie) would probably be the diminutive form.

Maybe we can call it a "Stutes" when a guy with an inverted W (or M) windup hurts his arm:

"Well, he was doing good until he Stutesed his elbow back in '08."

I wonder what Pete Orr thinks about this issue?

Wow. The first six Blue Jay hitters are batting between .343 and .478.

CLIFFLEE strikes out the first two.

Lee working on mowing down the real Blue Jays. Bautista flies out.

Phils working on scoring runs and Rollins gets lead off hit and Victorino sends one to the Tiki Bar.

2-0 Phils after 1.

Lee allowing the Phils to work on 6-4-3 DP as he gives up hit and the Phils turn two. K's the next clown -- Rivera -- sneers and swaggers off the mound.
