I have to switch of the radio now. the chelsea fans are convinced that barca aren't all that, and have completely forgotten that their own team were bottling it more and more as the game went on.

From a not totally committed Euro fan... this away goals thing can leave something to be desired. It's tough to see how 1-1 is THAT different from 0-0. Not saying impossible, just tough.

away goals is a better determiner than a penalty shootout. i hate penalty shootouts.

if you choose to play a negative gameplan away from home, you do it at your own peril. Arsenal went into Old Toilet and played really passive, and because of that, the game was over yesterday before it really even started.

Share the wealth Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, says England's Culture Secretary
Andy Burnham, the Culture Secretary, is calling for Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool to share their winnings in Europe with other Premier League teams.

Mr Burnham, an Everton fan, is pressing for several measures to redistribute the wealth of the richest league in the world to its lower reaches. He wants the league’s £1 billion revenue from television and sponsorship rights to be shared out more evenly among its 20 clubs. He also wants smaller squads and compulsory quotas of English players in team line-ups.

Maybe the big four can share their massive amount of debt with the smaller clubs too.

No Super Xabi tomorrow

Nando and Stevie both fit for the first time in a while though, so that's nice.

The league will be over for realz after this weekend if we don't make up ground on them, and our game looks tougher. Hopefully Robinho scores like 14 goals, and that Given lets in 13 or fewer.

Both of these things are possible. Unfortunately you are relying on Richards and Richie dunne not fucking up. And that's statistically impossible (this season).

Stoke beat Hull, so my dream of Hull getting relegated is still alive.

Yes, Gillette is looking to sell the Canadiens, Hicks can't make payments on his Texas sports teams, the pair of them owe hundreds of millions of dollars on the original purchase of the club, but Rafa's got over 60 million pounds to splash around this summer.
