Yeah not sure. He also mentioned that it would have to involve giving up a D prospect, which defeats the purpose of Hextall's mantra. Though the Jets GM along with 2 scouts were at the game against Chicago last week.

cant believe a word out of eklunds mouth but if you are interested in stories, he says the oilers are looking for a d-man also and have had talks with the flyers. possibly related, not quite a 3 team trade, but something like shipping out d-men to make space a new import

Flyers are going to unveil/wear their new third jerseys tomorrow night.

At this very early juncture, we're 9th in the conference behind Detroit, Florida, Ottawa, Tampa Bay, Montreal, Isles, Rangers, and Caps. Penguins, Bruins, an dDevils are all a threat just behind us. Some of you who know this better -- do we have a decent shot at making the playoffs this year, or are we not strong enough yet?

Biggest positive for Flyers in the early going is the fact that Columbus has been a total nightmare

Probably best case is fighting for one of the last spots. All we have learned is we may have a really good backup goalie, but other than that I don't think much is different than coming into the season.
