I'm basically just doing poor ripoffs of what people at Waxidermy.com have done in terms of the basic style. I try to find whatever images I want to use and turn them as close into graphics as I can without losing resolution and then manually do all the word bubbles. I hope there isn't some easier way that I don't know about.

I think that's the point - I'm all using fonts and stuff - I think that ruins the lo-fi charm.
