Because perhaps at the time, he was the most visible and biggest rap star? I don't know precisely, but she was far too sophisticated in her politics and cultural analysis to be dismissed with a casual "racist" card comment -- and it's not really possible to be racist to the dominant culture, you can be biased, or prejudiced... anyway I don't want to hijack this thread in to a cultural political convo, I thought it was a tight poem that cracked back at the time on Marshal
