Those funny cat pictures

For some reason, I've recently become intrigued by the cat picture caption internet phenomenon.

It's not going away. It's no longer a fad or a trend, it must now be considered a new genre or medium of humor. But why?

Anyway, poking around the web, there are lots of them that aren't really funny, and many that use non-cat animals. Here are some I've never seen before, but found funny.

Not sure why, but this one actually made me laugh out loud uncontrollably for about 10 minutes one night.

Weirdly, decided to show wizlette I can has cheezeburger today (BSG singularity in the house), then we found out that some bright spark has translated much of the bible into LOLcats. Our pud is now going to endure great indgnity while we ROFL. kthxbai.

I'm not sure there are all that many folks who are familiar with the Schrodinger's cat thing. You could probably show it to 40 more without any of them getting it without too much trouble.

Perhaps if the dude that generated the picture used the umlaut, more people would have gotten the Schrödinger joke.
