"Everyday" star sightings

Postby GrizzledVeteran » Wed Dec 31, 2008 19:28:23

Back in my vendor days at The Vet, I sold sodas to George Thoroughgood and Donald Sutherland. They were not sitting together. Sutherland was a huge Expos fan.

Bill is actually really nice! It's hard to hate him after I've met him. This is why one must always distance themselves from those they hate the most, to ensure the highest possible output of said hatred.

I said hello to David Montgomery a few years back coming out of a Temple University basketball game.

Thinking he would just shoot a greeting back I started to walk away. Except he engages me in conversation about the Phillies and stuff. It was weird and totally unexpected.

i talked with Monty in line at a starbucks line at a rest stop in maryland after the phillies - nationals game that didnt end until 2AM in september a couple years ago , really nice guy

Saw Channel 6 reporter Vernon Odom at Wawa one night. He bought a gallon of milk and used the ATM. Al Gore and Nancy Pelosi were at a campaign rally at my college in 2006. My uncle is a regular at the KOP Sullivan's, and he's talked to Scott Palmer, Charles Barkley, and Steve Carlton there.

All three at once might be Pay-Per-View event worthy.

Walked passed Ryan Madson tonight at the KoP mall.

We had seen Tyler Green earlier in the food court.

My wife asked me why I didn't say anything to him, to which I replied, "he was a pretty sucky pitcher."

A former coworker saw Ryan Howard hanging out with Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan at the Hard Rock in Tampa a couple days ago. (Then off to a strip club, I'm sure). Probably a lot of star sightings in Tampa lately.

I saw Ryan Madson at the KOP Court yesterday, outside the Disney Store
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

it's amazing- we've met a bunch of the cast of that show, and every single one of them uses the "that's what she said" line at a ridiculous rate.

Did he see the WFC collage paintings displayed next door at "whimsical art" and lament that he wasn't included

...and saw Ed Snider walking out of Macy's at the court at KoP. He noticed me do a double take, and looked and gave me a nice "hello". Probably helped that I was wearing a Flyers sweatshirt.
