North Korea just launched a ballistic missile, at 3:15 AM their time, which was about 15 minutes ago.

Per Dana Bash, Bob Corker is a YES in budget committee because leadership agreed to a trigger on deficit concerns. Not sure if that was added to the bill, or will be an amendment brought up on the floor.

Senator Johnson also a yes in committee, Trump urged him to fix tax cuts for his small business later in the process

That's actually pretty tough to do when you're firing from the surface of a rapidly rotating oblate spheroid.

If they did that, then they have arrived at SpaceX territory which would be really concerning.

Isn't it common knowledge that Russia at least tried to affect the election? Facebook is releasing a tool that enables you to check whether you liked any fake news generated from a Russian troll farm. It happened. How effective they were is in question, sure.

Tillerson continues to try to right size the State Department with more cuts, and a request to slash his own budget. He says that these people are unnecessary, yet his under staffing just killing the country diplomatic ability. There are places where staff is just more or less keeping the lights on, and some careerists feel that they need to keep out of the spotlight so that the end to their career is not abrupt, which could happen for just doing the basics of their jobs that they have become experts at over their last 25 - 30 years of service. Brain drain and swamp drain are not the same.
