Look, the whole "balance" and "neutral" and "unbiased" standards are not that at all. Whenever this card is pulled, it's explicitly pro-trump. Even if it weren't the problem of false equivalency (which is most obviously is) there's also the fact that criticisms of Obama/Bush/Clinton are absolutely irrelevant to any evaluation of Trump. Trump is the President now, not any of those other people. You might as well talk about how the Grant administration was corrupt too.

I mean, over on Redstate, comments regarding the problems of Price's abuse of his expense account are met with "why didn't the media report on this during Obama's Presidency?" miss the obvious answer--the media didn't report on this kind of corruption during the Obama Presidency because it didn't happen!

Obama is obviously imperfect, and regularly fell short of his rhetoric. It's what I loved pointing out to people in these threads in his first term. But there is no comparison between Trump and Obama on almost any topic. On this issue, as pacino points out, Obama never faced something like this, but he rarely used his platform to intentionally inflame and berate opposition who were seeking more help/aid/support.
