Fight broke out. Nazis beat black kid w/sticks at end. I kick one in back 2 help & he runs after me. Kid is safe but bloody #Charlottesville Right after young man was beaten, we found safe place in stairwell. His face was bloodied bad. I have pics. At his request, won't show.

After the mob was done beating the shit out of the christians, *some* of the police "intervened" in riot gear, while others simply kept watching.

I'd expected white hoods. Instead, what I saw was preppy boys - quoting scripture and wearing polo's - intending to beat people of all colors.

There are far fewer incidents in the city now, but the ones that happen seem worse. A small, tight team is responding to these with faith and bravery I have no words for.
Keep praying for them. Keep confronting white supremacy, and its less obvious but equally deadly forms, systemic racism and white privilege

Considering my point was about giving a specific person credit, properly identifying that person would seem to be pretty important even, one might argue, essential to any intelligent discussion of the point. We have to keep the bar sufficiently high.
