I like many of the movies on PtK's list, especially Down By Law. And, it's Desperately Seeking Susan, not Suddenly Seeking Susan.

I'll add:

I'll probably catch some crap for this statement, but I really do think there were more better movies in the 80s than their are now. Maybe that's because living in the middle of nowhere really limits the movies I can see. Of course, our TV today kicks 80 TV's ass, so I guess it's all good.
