I wonder why they didnt kill the guy/girl that they carjacked? Unable to do it face to face?

CNN guy saying a few dozen assault rifle shots fired were heard. In other words, someone farted.

Gun shots heard live on air. Cop cars flying to the scene.

If he is still in the area that is fine but if he was able to escape the perimeter when there was that much man power there then it is a sad failure.
