Story about a guy from Philly who went to law school, didn’t pass the bar and then basically lived through his 30s and 40s answering ads looking for roommates and then making the primary roommate evict him after by antagonizing then and not paying. It’s a real roller coaster ride and worth reading til the end.

The suprise at the end happens very quickly. Would be curious to see more of the fallout and what happened to those close to Harry.

Agreed, the author talks about Harry’s wife not being okay with Jamison being around and then boom. That’s about it. Would’ve liked to known a little more about their relationship and fallout, maybe she didn’t want to speak about it.

Confess I haven't read the whole thing yet, but I will based on the headline:

I let this one chick that I just started seeing at the time move in until her new apartment would be ready in about two weeks. I helped her move out, put some of her stuff in storage and actually saw her sign the lease for the new apartment.

First week was awesome, then on the 8th day, things got weird and was like I have to lose her. Figuring she's moving out and confronting to her on when exactly that would be, she did not give me a straight answer. I told her she had to move out at the end of the week, she told me I needed an eviction notice.

I talked to the police the next day and asked what I should do. They told me if she did a change of address and received mail, I would have to file a 30 day eviction notice. I was told even if she did not pay me a single dime and was on no type of bill or lease, they would make me let her in if I would change the locks.

Long story short, did not need the notice, did take her two extra weeks to move out and had to get a restraining order against her. In early February she exited this world, I learned a valuable lesson in trust, and also how ridiculously easy it is to be a squatter.

The Lottery Hackers
https://highline.huffingtonpost.com/art ... o-winners/

A story about a guy who worked for Kellogg's cereal, designing packaging, but gets bored, so he quits and buys a convenience store which he will run until he retires. In his retirement, he figures out that a state lottery game has a specific feature that improves the odds to the point that if he plays enough, he can all but guarantee that he'll win money, but he's not alone...

It's a good one too! Someone linked that somewhere else a few weeks back. I thought it was this thread but apparently not.
