I really don't even see how they can use a measurement like that. THC stays in your system a long time if you're a chronic user, but that doesn't mean a chronic user is driving stoned even when they haven't smoked in days.

Meh, what do I care. I guess I wouldn't want people driving stoned on the same road with my daughter, so maybe it should be really strict.

it depends on where they draw the sample from. thc metabolites stay in urine 2-4 weeks, blood 1-2 weeks, hair up to 3 yrs, and saliva ~24 hrs. i would guess they did a saliva test on these people.

But the behavioral effects don't stay there, even if it is in your system. That's what I meant. You don't act or feel stoned. I'd feel comfortable saying that someone who hasn't smoked in 3 days is fine to drive even if the fact that they are a chronic user has their THC level above the legal limit.

my friends and i heard they were doing this and we tried to find the video a week ago, but it actually didn't air yet. instead, we stumbled upon a video of a test they did for people in colorado. only the test in colorado was purposely made difficult beyond the point where if you weren't an experienced big rig driver, you'd fail(mainly because they used a "worst cast scenario" simulator for people to get their CDL)

It talks about some of the stuff that has to do with measuring the legal limits and whatnot that some of you might find interesting. the guy who documented all of this was actually above the legal limit before smoking any pot pre-test because he's an everyday user.
