Better defense by the Reds in that second inning would have resulted in a 1-0 game to this point. The Reds starting pitcher was let down by his defense behind him. So what looks like a dominating hitting performance by the Phillie's, was really just a mental mistake by the reds trying to get that out at second base rather than going to first.
