He has a key to the clubhouse should he ever beat clubhouse employees to the ballpark. (He has been known to arrive at 10 a.m. for a 7 p.m. game.) He lifts weights, runs stairs, rides the exercise bike, recuperates in his hyperbaric chamber and studies hitters in the video room.

Every minute has a purpose.

"Same old Roy," Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said. "I said, 'Hello, Roy.' He said, 'Hello, Charlie,' and grinned and went about his business. The grin showed me that he's happy."

How many years/Cy Youngs/WFCs does he have to play/win in Philly before he goes into the HoF as a Phillie rather than a Blue Jay?

well if hawk went in as an expo, i'd say pretty much another 8-10 years so he has a roughly equal number of years as a jay and a phil.

if he wins 2 WS and 2 Cy Youngs with the Phils, then maybe he goes in with a Phils hat even if he only does like 5-6 years here.

either way he's going to have to come back for 1 more contract beyond this one, i'd say.

If he finishes out the contract and option, that's 5 seasons. If he wins 2 CYs and 2 WFCs with close to 100 wins and a sub 3 ERA, its close. If he pitches 7 seasons in Philly with 120+ wins, he's going in as a Phillies.
