Awesome. :-D

My heart is still racing. Holy crap. And as I asked earlier in the year, when exactly is Roy Halladay kneepad night?
This is a simple game. You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball.

I would just like to thank the assholes in charge who blacked this game out for me. I went fishing instead and caught a big bass, so there's that. But damn. Guess I'll have to watch the archived game.

It's odd how baseball can make the thought of an afterlife so immediate. I'm hoping my Dad saw this.

It wasn't Lee over Halladay; it was Lee over Hamels or Lee over Blanton.

Just wait until Hamels, KK or Cupcakes throws a no-no their next start

Absolutely. And I'm just smiling knowing that Moyer is pitching tomorrow. He was my grandmother's favorite. Her mailman gave her and autographed copy of one of the giveaway prints they did of him one of these past seasons. She paperclipped a little scrap of paper to it, on which she would record each of his wins, along with some additional notes. She was actually buried with it. I can't wait to watch that game tomorrow.
"I tell all kids not to use that word. If they're 29 and they win the World Series, I think they can say that.
But I definitely would say to all the kids out there, 'Kids, it's a bad word. Don't say it. And I'm dead serious.' "

My father passed away 2 years ago while the family was on vacation in Ocean City, MD. An avid Phillies fan, the WFC, 2009 WS, and this perfect game have also been bittersweet. The true consolation for now though is at least he got to listen to Harry call it.

mlb with a micro-skeleton staff on memorial day weekend; front page still has Halladay "perfect thru 5", tho the box score does show game over

I think you need new cache. They've had a fancy graphic up for the last 20 minutes or so.
