I recognize the gravity of this game. And I know the Phillies are going to win it.

It's not your impressive ability to go out on a limb like this and risk your reputation that concerns me.

My sarcasm detector is lighting up?

It's usually somewhere between an out and a hit, no matter the score, inning, pitcher, error, ump call, or just dumb luck.

scoring 3-4 runs here would put off my bedtime but I'll deal with it if I have to
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

5 more runs for the home team would be nice here.

It would've been a sac fly.

EDIT: Jimmy misplayed that Damon grounder, so maybe not.

So a positive/confident thread and bitching/worrying thread? I like it. Believe me, tonight's confidence is a rare occurrence for me. I'll be in the Game 6 bitching/worrying thread.

Still believe in Lidge. Stupid, likely unrepeating shit went down last night.

Tonight there's been a special damn the torpedoes aspect to it. If we were down 8-5, I'm sure some people would be noting their lack of concern.

To be fair I started a thread last night titled We Got This, but I really didn't mean it.

It doesn't matter, we're going to win. Until my Practiv perscription expires.

Just let Madson start it. Don't want him coming in with guys on if Eyre is wild. Matsui isn't a platoon split guy anyway and Posada is pretty even switch
