If it makes you feel any better, Steinbrenner probably will die before Christmas.

Cole Hamels sucked every bit of life out of this team.

if they lose tonight they have to throw lee out there. cannot go down 3-1 to the yankees.

Honestly, I take my chances with Joe and play for the favorable pitching match ups in games 5 and 6.

you take your chances with a guy you can trust. not with a guy whos pitched twice in the last month.

And not all that well

Blanton's like 18-8 since we got him; Cole is more like 12-13 this year. I'm OK with Fat Kid Joe.

Ugh, if the Yankees win the WS and Steinbrenner dies soon thereafter, ESPN and MLB Network will be unbearable.

Myers. This should be entertaining.

How come no one else is totally unhinged?

Can't be any worse than Hamels. Or not much, at least.

I feel that way about the last two games..... early leads with our pitcher cruising and their pitcher throwing a bunch of pitches. But then the pitching gives up and few runs and the bats get impatient and go silent. Very frustrating. We could be trying to hang on and go up 3-0 right now, but instead we're trying to make a comeback to avoid going down 1-2. Of course, the Yanks won a bunch of games this season for a reason. Their offense is as relentless as ours.

I think the difference right now is a couple of bad calls and a few more bloop hits by them.

Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

2 reasons: (1) Even if we lose, it's still a series; and (2) the Yankees are not the Rays. They're a really good team.

Oh, well that's nice to know. If he was the best PITCHER, I suspect we'd all find that more pertinent.
