At some point, we will figure out that Pettite is going to throw an outside slider with two strikes.

I thought the same thing.

what point?

Players try to throw a 4-seam fastball when throwing to a base. I was making fun of him at 1st, but I guess the average fan doesn't realize that.

What made it a good piece of TV was the shot of Feliz staring at the ball before he threw it to make sure he had a 4 seam grip on it.

Yeah, I agree now thinking about it for a second. My initial reaction was a snarky "Really, I usually throw change-ups to 1st", but they did a really good job of explaining why you want a 4 seam fastball.

Sheesh. If you just saw Pettitte vs. Utley, Howard & Ibanez, you'd swear he was dominating.

Definitely seems like the team as a whole is doing that tonight.

Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

The trivia asked who had the best batting average in WS history, minimum 100 ABs. So that pretty much narrows it to a Yankee huh...

LA just said Fox is adding 1-2 MPH on Pettite's pitches and taking away 2-3 on Hamels from what is shown on the stadium board.

Every announcer says Werth is underrated, or they talk about his long path to stardom, or his family lineage. Nothing else. This is why I love the pothead/hulk fist meme here.
