99 pitches was a bit much and they don't have to worry about hitting for the pitcher. i almost would've done pedro for 5 and happ for a while, then whoever.

i'd go madson here for the k.

Because the bullpen isn't that good?

I mean, if this is 2008, yes, but the bullpen has been a problem all year? Why the hell are we suddenly OK with them going 4 innings?


I have way more faith in Park and Madson than Pedro at 100 pitches.

Pedro did pitch well. We can be upset we're losing, and that some cheap hits got through, but holding the Yanks to two runs (both solo homers) is no joke.

To re-iterate an earlier point, he didn't pitch poorly, he just went up against a pitcher have a career high night. Which I'm ok with, honestly. This team thrives when they're against the wall.
