Id say hes throwing too many fastballs. Both HRs were off of fastballs to loney and either. he threw a lot to both of them. but loney hit his HR after a curve.
Ethier HR= awful pitch
Loney HR= decent pitch, good hitting

yeah, he's gonna be sick next year. people forget he's only 25 this year.
This is the first year hes struggled at any level EVER. Next year will say a lot about him beyond just baseball.

i'm doing the BP chat right now so i can't really post here, but cole hamels gave up less home runs this year than last. on a per batter basis.
remember that the best way to avoid being victimized by sample size error is to overreact to an even smaller sample size. pipe down on the nonsense and root for the phillies.
