Tonight was a good night.

Center City was insane as always, good fun as always, large amounts of riot police, crowd surfing, fireworks, the whole shebang.

Let's do it again in two weeks.

And my night's complete. I can go to bed now. The banner is epic. Thank you, and good night.

I'm onto CSN.

Is he really being a bitch about it?

He seemed to take it in stride actually, but maybe I missed something

I just got home, because I was downtown and I tried to take the BSL or MFL shuttle bus. I wasn't planning ahead, I guess.

Here's what happened tonight:
Me, Housh and a few friends of mine went to the Troc to see Dirty Projectors
We watched the Phils game on TV until the DPs came on around the mid-4th inning, Phils leading
Housh left because he's a hardcore fucking Phils fan who didn't want to miss a thing
My friends and I went downstairs to see the Dirty Projectors, following furiously on our phones
The DPs only played for about an hour and they were great
My friends and I walked to the Fieldhouse, arriving just as Shane hit his bomb to make it 8-3
Housh showed up about a half hour later
Phils won
We went to Broad Street
It was the best thing ever
no offense but you are everything that's wrong with America

TJ Simers today:

City officials spent the day greasing the light poles, street lights and nearby trees knowing Vicente Padilla was pitching for the Dodgers and the drunken uglies here would go stupid once the Phillies clinched the pennant.

He's been on the mound for the Phillies last 7 clinchers.

Also, does it get any better than this?

Did the reporter say something ridiculous or was he just asking another question because he thought he was done talking?

Repetitive.

Almost gramatically correct statements.

Almost as serious as he wants columns to be.

Almost as literary as he wishes he could be.

Almost.

Did the reporter say something ridiculous or was he just asking another question because he thought he was done talking?

What I think happened is he agreed to do the interview with Leslie then a bunch of other reporters came over and shoved their microphones in his face and one of them tried to ask a question when he it was supposed to be an interview with Leslie. Every time she does an interview with a player after they clinch that seems to happen.

This also clinches Charlie (and half the phillies lineup?) for the all star game next year :-D
