listen, charlie and dubee knew enough about the status of pedro's arm to know he should pitch today instead of blanton and happ. if they think he's about to fall off a cliff, i'll trust them on that too.

I thought it was an unwritten courtesy that you should leave a pitcher in who is throwing a shutout, unless his pitch count is super high. Flummoxed.

I guess Pedro's arm isn't where they want it to be, and since he hasn't thrown this many since the Mets game, gotta go with it.
