The Phils lose one game every post-season series. That was it for this one. Not to worry. We got this.

Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

But it's hurtin' to $#@! it up that way. Damn. Feebleness.

Still winning. This stain will spur them on.

Yep - it's disappointing but gotta keep perspective. Split coming home and the Dodgers not looking like world-beaters by any stretch of the imagination makes me feel good. After first 2 against the Rockies, the Phils were in a more difficult position than they are now.

Hat's off to Pedro for an awesome performance!

I tend to agree. The loss sucks, but we've had our share of "good luck" in the playoffs and the reality is that we didn't play well enough (between hitting and defense) to win this. But the series is 1-1, we have HFA and we have Lee pitching 2 of the last 4 games. We're in perfectly fine shape and if we lose the series -- hell, it's tough to win post-season series and we've won 4 in a row. All the teams playing now are very very good and losing a series to any is no shame.

Now this is the pitcher's duel on paper. How do you think Kuroda compares to Jimenez?

And they'll be facing him post-injury and post hit-in-face-with-batted-ball (16 runs in 29 innings).

I have a feeling Torre is rushing him by having him start this weekend.

My main disappointment is they couldn't deliver when Pedro was dealing. However, the fact remains that Pedro was dealing and that's awesome going forward.

Before the series started, 1-1 after 2 was close to ideal. Up 2-0 would have basically guaranteed victory.

We lost this game, the Dodgers didnt win it.

Seriously, Chase Utley cost us a game. Its tough to even imagine that. Thats like saying Pujols cost the Cardinals a game.

I like the cut of Sideshow Bob's jib. He's a very even-keel kind of guy. I like our odds with Lee/Blanton/Hamels at the Bank. And regardless of how far the Phillies go, you know Smuggy is already thinking about what to do about the bullpen for 2010. Right now he's thinking about it. Devising schemes and what have you.

Utley's footwork on that throw was terrible.

BTW, dajafi, love you man, but that whiny girls thing is sorta out of place when a team is gagging away a playoff game. That shit sucked.
