heres something else.

when cole does the pickoff move, and he knows hes got the guy, why doesnt he just step off and throw to 2nd? throwing to howard there is just not a good decision, since the runner beats it out 99 out of 100 times

I'm limited to gamecast right now, which has Helton grounding into a FC and the runner scoring, and yet has Helton ending up at first , no error being charged, no out being recorded.

Hamels threw to the plate too late to get the runner. FC. No out.
