Just back from the game. Awesome. Tracy gave up any chance Colorado had by letting Jiminez hit in the 6th and face the LHP in the bottom half instead of bringing in Beimel.
Cliff Lee was Jesus. Jimenez was a beast until he tired in the 5th. Otherwise, the Rockies are total frauds. Sweep.

Great game, of course, but I couldn't help wondering if Charlie would have brought Lidge in for the ninth if he had a closer he had confidence in, and saved Lee a little for whatever might happen down the road.

i got to stand next to g"s"m for about 20 minutes today. about 19 of them were spent trying to figure out how i would tell him that i play him on the intertwitters. i couldn't do it.
