Flyers led in blocked shots 24-10. NAK especially had some rough looking ones.

We were blocking passes all over the ice too. Of course so were the Habs. Getting the early goal was huge, because it never felt like another one was imminent. It's so weird having the home/road element removed in a series

I think he is but this is not like normal. No home or away games.

No practice today since they have back to backs coming up Tuesday and Wednesday.

Can Montreal keep up this pace, especially with the back to back? Hopefully that favors us if it goes six or seven.

Potentially the last 4 games in a series taking place over 6 days seems like a crazy pace. (As does the last 5 over 8 for that matter)

Over the past several seasons, the Flyers and afternoon games are a bad mix for the team. We need to break that trend.

Obviously very happy for the win and very grateful for Carter Hart but they better figure the fucking power play out or it is going to be very difficult to go much further. There is probably something far more in-depth involved but I feel like a big part of the issue is spending 45 seconds looking for the perfect pass.

not that MTL scored but they seemed to get quality chances when they made 2-3 passes in a row, regardless of them being super duper criss cross the ice through 3 defenders like we try to keep doing. maybe it's just me, but as long as you get the goalie/defenders moving that's enough to, you know, actually take a shot on goal.

I don't know the Xs and Os of hockey at all, but I think...

1. they have to get more shots on net, even if they are not super high quality. You're not going to beat Price, you need rebounds and/or screens

2. they have to change their approach to gaining the blue line on the PP

It would be good for something offensively from G, Coots, Konecny, or Hayes today
