I heard back and smitty's family is definitely on board! They had actually been discussing it already and were planning to submit photos of smitty and his dad with hopes that they'd be able to seat them together. Of course who knows with the positive tests from the past couple of days if this season is even going forward. Maybe we wait a few days to see how things shake out before proceeding? I do have the smitty photo from his memorial service pamphlet and another photo of smitty sr.

How do I donate? I miss that old ball of knowledge.

I'm no good at photo editing, having trouble getting it to look "right" in the upload tool. But both images are saying they have the right DPI to be a good quality cutout. Anyone else wanna give it a shot?

I would condense his obit, and add a couple sentences about his love of the Phillies (maybe mention BSG?). Then send that info to the PR office, I'm sure they can get it to CSN producers. I can help with any of that, though a bunch of you actually knew him so you'd be better at writing his blurb.

I was worried there wouldn't be a way to associate any sort of story with the uploaded photos, but I did get an order id so if we want to put together some kind of blurb like this and send it in to the PR/media folks I think it's worth a shot!
