Classic trap game tonight. Canes are in a must win, but have goalie and blue line injuries. AV’s plan worked with Elliott winning last night and now you get arguably the best home goalie in the league in a game where he needs to be awesome. Emotional letdown, was a physical game last night, etc. Looking forward to it

I was down there tonight and all I can say is wow. Caps dominated the 1st period, but wasted all of their energy. Flyers were faster and stronger and far more dangerous the rest of the way. Once flyers got that 3-1 lead, game was over. Crowd felt that way as well.

Could hear the let's go flyers chants on TV. wish I hadn't slept on this team so long this year, they are awesome and fun to watch.

When Wilson and his threat of cheap shots, is off of the ice, the Caps are a totally different club. Teams would be wise to constantly lure him into fights in order to get him out of the game. Hats off to Hagg for being willing to go with Wilson after his hit on Giroux.

Game was a rousing success with the exception of the JVR injury and someone not breaking a stick while cross-checking Wilson by the end of it.

JVR is out 4-6 weeks with a broken hand.

Round 1 starts 5 weeks from the date of the injury

I was thinking that, but Farabee is younger so a comfortable spot for him may be best. Laughton is a wildcard and slots in well everywhere.
