Penguins and Caps play tomorrow so it will be back to 5 tomorrow.

Interesting to see what they do at the deadline... winning the division would be nice to get someone like Carolina, Columbus or the Islanders in Round One instead of Pittsburgh or Washington... hope the Lightning do their annual playoff nosedive too and maybe someone picks off Boston

@billmeltzer: Heading to tomorrow's deadline, per Cap Friendly, Flyers have $70,954 of actual cap space ($2,082,368 if they max out their LTIR). It's going to be hard to add anything more than depth even if a trade partner retains salary. Also would risk overages that cost penalties on 2020-21

How is that possible when two guys are on LTIR for such a huge chunk of the season?

Patrick's salary is less than a million and so is Lindbloms.

Expected a move like this. Cheap depth veteran forward. Would assume they are done now.

Does he play wing? I can’t see him being that much better than Laughton and the Bunnaman line has been playing well for a 4th line. Maybe they’ll put him in Bunnaman’s spot hoping for Frost or Patrick?

I wish we had cap space to make a move outside of depth, but it does help on the fringes. It sucks that the rest of the Metro seems to have made moves to really help them. Good thing the Flyers put a little space between themselves and the WC race.

FYI Thompson and Grant are both UFAs after the season
