Wouldn't they want to do it on a day where news will be focused elsewhere. Firing a GM, even under these situations, would pale in comparison to the pomp and circumstance of Game 1.

FWIW, I think colangelo resigns tomorrow (4-5pm timeframe). Sixers do a press conference Monday. And I think the theme will be that Bryan stepped aside understanding that his presence with the team is now a negative distraction leading into pivotal offseason and that’s not fair to the franchise or its players. And how sixers have halted the investigation in the near term to focus on hiring a GM.
